PROGRAM DETAILS

3-WEEK PROGRAM

OCT. 18 , 2021 – MAR. 15, 2022

BLENDED PROGRAM (ONLINE AND CLASSROOM BASED)

COURSES OFFERED AS PART OF THIS TRAINING PROGRAM ARE: 

​

  • Alberta Basic Security Training Course

  • Blended Standard First Aid

  • WHIMIS

  • H2S Alive

  • Managing Conflict

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO:

​

  • Be Métis by the following definition:

    • Be a current Métis Nation of Alberta membership cardholder;

    • Provide proof of Alberta residency

    • Be of eighteen (18) years of age or older

    • Be able to meet Rupertsland Institute’s eligibility criteria

    • Be eligible to work in Canada

    • Possess of a minimum of grade ten (10) education

    • Have no criminal record

    • Have no outstanding criminal charges

    • Not be a subject of a criminal investigation
